This Beltsville, Maryland firm, which has identified the DNA of over 100 popular dog breeds, (scroll down to their list of “Identifiable Breeds”) offers a saliva test that is both safe and non-invasive. Once you have received your Canine Heritage™ Breed Test Kit in the mail, you can e-mail them a photo of your dog that will be printed on your Certificate of Canine Breed Analysis (if your mixed breed dog has been photographed by us, we’ll help you prepare and send your jpg file).
